4 points per game with 11 sacks and 9 defenses

(Denver Broncos) San Diego ChargersDenver’s defense has been quite the surprise this season, as they are near the top in almost every statistical category on defense. They survived the test of one good offense with the Patriots, but can they have the same success against the Chargers Denver has allowed 252.8 yards and a league low 8.6 points per game. The Broncos have 16 sacks and 11 turnovers so far on the year. (New York Giants) New Orleans SaintsStrength on strength, as the best defense in the NFL in the Giants (210.6 yards and 14.2 points per game) takes on one of the best offenses in the NFL in the Saints (414.3 yards and 36 points per game).

While you may hesitate to start the Giants against such a high flying attack, you must remember the unit will still put up good defensive stats. Louis RamsLast week we stated any defense playing the Rams is a good start. The Jaguars are ranked well above where they should be, but you are taking a chance playing them this week. Jacksonville has given up the 3rd most yards in the NFL at 380.6 per game and the 9th most points at 25.4 per contest. Their sack totals are the lowest in the NFL at 4, but they do have 9 turnovers. While the Rams have been putrid on offense, and the Jaguars defense could put up a great game, don’t rush out to grab the unit unless the 10 defenses above are already gone Bruno Boys Stars: 12 (Cincinnati Bengals) vs. Houston TexansThe Bengals defense has done surprisingly well, holding good offenses down to minimal gains on offense.

Cincinnati has given up 327.6 yards and 18 points per game, though, only adding 6 turnovers. The good thing for the defense is all the sacks they are able to produce, as they have 14 on the season. While Houston has done a good job offensively, they may struggle to get their dangerous passing game going if their offensive line doesn’t give quarterback Matt Schaub time to throw the football Bruno Boys Stars: 13. (Baltimore Ravens) Minnesota VikingsThe Ravens are another defense you may struggle to keep in the lineup since they will be facing a strong offense in Minnesota. While they may have 31.2 points per contest, some of those points could be due to their strong defensive play. Baltimore has done a nice job this season, giving up 314 yards and 19.4 points per game with 11 sacks and 9 defenses.
